I have the same issue, i didn't get how to fix it but I am sure it starts after the download of MalwareBytes Antimalware. Scan and removed some risky file. Probably I removed accidently something that allow me to connect to the server. Any idea other than reinstalling?

I receive an error message stating That it failed to connect to the server. I have received this after completing a vanilla install of the application. I tried to disable the Windows Firewall for troubleshooting purposes however this did not help. So I have reenabled it for the time being.

Also note I am not using Malware bytes on my workstation.

Trypsin, the installer does not yet contain the latest launcher, linked in my post above, which is now required to connect.
