Hey everyone.
I have decided I want to play on another server, while still having Nasomi installed for when I feel like hopping onto here.
However, I noticed that when I try to log in to Nasomi, the game goes through the usual login progress. Though instead, at the end, it says "closing..." instead of booting the game. While this all was happening, the other server worked just fine.
Now, I have reinstalled Nasomi to another drive, separate from the other server. Now, Nasomi works fine, but the other server has problems.
I'd love to be able to somehow fix this and play on both without constantly having to uninstall and reinstall.
If any of you have any ideas on how to fix this please let me know.

Nasomi tweaked FFXI to run specifically for Nasomi... which is different from the other private server. You could probably get it running but you can run into errors sometime in the future which only YOU may have and no one else. Play at your own risk.

When you first had the problem with Nasomi did you use Nasomi installer or the other server installation ? Either way the point where the issue of it closing on your first attempt could be solved using this Ashita https://na.nasomi.com/software/Ashita.zip Try it next time if you come across the problem again with a Nasomi installation of FFXI. Don't use the ashita that came with the installer or in the torrent.

While it is possible it's a process to configure correctly

You just need 2 .bat files, you can find them in the forums easily. Each file will arrange your registry for either retail or nasomi. Just look around. Sorry on the late reply :p

Using regsvr commands you can swap between clients pretty easily. I play on 4 different versions of FFXI (including retail) so I have bat files for them all.
