Try clicking somewhere in game with left or right click.

Hi Nabutso. I have tried that. Left and right clicking within the game window. Leaving the cursor in the middle of the game window. I've tried disabling my touchpad and using a mouse...but still whenever I'm not actively fighting to change the camera angle it just pans back up and over my character...

Yeah, if you have a controller plugged in then it probably needs re-calibration or just to be re-plugged in.

No controller.

Just a stock standard Surface Pro 4 with the keyboard (type cover).

edit: I just tried using a USB fullsized keyboard and removing the type cover but the problem still persists...

edit 2: should I try uninstalling the game?

edit 3: I deleted the NasomiXI.v18 file and downloaded it again...The camera is still panning up...

Any suggestions?

Has anyone found a fix for this? A friend of mine is running into it. Have tried all of the above with no dice. The map also zooms in without user input when opened.

Your friend has some sort of controller setup in windows that's calibrated incorrectly. Even if none is plugged in, it thinks something is plugged in. Find it, and disable it.
