You can simply not camp 24 hour NM's? It's not fun, its sweaty, boring, and arguably one of the more competitive things in ffxi. Competitiveness is generally not a fun thing. I personally can't stand camping NM's and wasting enormous amounts of time to come up empty handed. It's also why I don't have certain items, because i'm not willing to put in that kind of time(I go outside). You are camping items worth massive amounts, bet your ass someone will always be there competing with you.

it is harassment, it doesnt matter whatever i lvl jobs, camp nms. you are spoil the game atmosphere, just like theres a exp pt already taken a camp, but ppls just come and steal the camp, also justify steal is fair, beacuse exp camp is scarce resources

People competing at an XP camp is certainly within the rules, too. I don't do it because I already get annoyed at poor XP rates, so missing out on mobs and breaking chains doesn't sound interesting to me.

But XP mobs respawn every few minutes and most zones support a couple of parties. 21-24 hour NMs respawn every, well, 21-24 hours, and only one party gets the claim.

Stacking up in a group on 1 specific person, especially after that person made a harassment complaint (even though it had no merit) is a bad look. That being said I would advise the OP to get over it and move on.

It's a bad look, I stand by what I said. It was a bad look(and more) when my friend did what he did as well, I acknowledged it, he apologized for it, and you still haven't gotten over it.

Yeah, but one of the things being referenced is clearly against the server rules, and one clearly isn't.


Anyway, I didn't think the screenshot required any context to explain it because this whole thing is so silly, but since apparently it warrants it: I specifically stood on him to poke fun at him for the thread, then several other non-RFK people came and stood on him while referencing the thread, and then finally several RFK people came over to join in, upon which he started ranting about how we should bring even more people and it wouldn't be enough to stop him and daring us to continue. People got bored and started wandering off, some people had gone AFK between windows. We eventually all spread out, he eventually warped to go do White Coney.

Which is why I said it was a bad look and didn't say it broke any rules. I even told the OP to get over it and move on. It's not that big of a deal. The instance you are referring to has long since been handled and to my knowledge there has been no further incidents. I made it clear then that I wouldn't put up with that kind of stuff but I believe in giving people a 2nd chance as well.

Just a random thought that still hasn't been answered in this thread, is it a bad look to stand on top of people at Behemoth? How about Fafnir/Nidhogg?

If both of those are ok, then every other NM is ok.

As long as you aren't taking "Group actions that block access and impede other players' movements within the game" it's ok by the rules. Whether it may look bad or not is someone's personal opinion. People may or may not agree with me on this and that's fine.
