Hi everyone,
i downloaded the game yesterday and installed it but after i create my character and i select it i get the FFXI error 3101 (unable to connect to lobby server).
I tried removing the firewall, changing my dsn, resetting the router and deleted the chara from the website and recreated it but i still get the error
Can someone please help me out? i really dont know what to do, i read most of the topics on the forum before making this post but with no luck.
I really want to play again with this wonderful game because i loved it during 2003-2007

Does anyone know the ports that Nasomi uses so that I can go into my router settings and forward them? I've tried reinstalling NasomiXI, rebooting the computer, and rebooting the router. I also tried using my phones internet to see if that would change anything and it didn't. I have one forum account with 3 different character accounts that I created(main, alt, mule). Tried logging into each and none of them work. There aren't multiple characters per account (i heard that it was an issue for some). Besides the ports possibly needing to be forwarded, does anyone else have any ideas? I'll continue searching the thread.

Tried forwarding FFXI ports that I found on https://portforward.com/final-fantasy-xi/ and did not have any luck with that. :( maybe I'll just pray that it works tomorrow...

I just thought I would update those of you in the future who may come to this thread seeking answers lol.. i tried logging on the next morning and everything worked fine. Apparently the server was having some issues that got resolved after some time. I hope its the same case for the rest of you!
