Do i need the base ffxi install to play this. I removed it last night because it broke and did not think anything about it. But now i am wondering if i need the game installed as a back bone for nasomi. can someone fill me in please.

I am reinstalling nasomi to be safe as well.

the error i got before was pol did not load

Remove all old ffxi and pol installs and just use the nasomi installer
