I have seen many people complaining lately after switching to the new launcher of black download screens when zoning to specific zones. This is a network glitch where your content IDs are mixed as received by the server.
Temporary solution that will help:
1) log out your main and alt account.
2) Log back in using the reverse order.
Example: You logged in with your main account first and then your alt. After logging out, log back in with your alt first and then your main.

You should now be unstuck and freely be able to zone in and out of that zone with that character.

I ton of people are ghosting a lot lately instantly when zoning and not knowing it. I think that might be causing it, you have to relog before trying to zone our blackscreen.

2nd thing is when trying to use /sea it doesn't seem to work at random times. Right as I used a outpost warp and /sea on my alt at exact same time, sea was down and I blackscreen. During this time I also got bugged trying to enter dyna and wasted 250k gil trying to keep reentering two days ago and the zone also didn't didn't depop when the other left group left.

I think /sea was down or something happened and during the tiny window right when I entered that cause me to be glitched and caused the zone to not depop and give us a fresh zone.

I've been having this issue for about a month and couldn't figure out what was going on. It most often occurred when I tried to send my main and alt to Kolshushu (via OP or Tele-Mea); my alt would never load and I'd have to crash, clear session, and sometimes even use the unstuck feature, because no amount of waiting would allow me to get back in.

I'll have to try this method next time and see if it works!

Update: tried this over the weekend and still had trouble. After attempting to log out/in on both characters multiple times, I eventually gave up. After an hour of partying in Bibiki Bay on my alt, I was finally able to log my main in and run him there as well.

Say that you logged in with your main and then your alt with both active; your main hit the black download that never ends.
You logged both accounts out fully and then logged your alt in first followed by your main and it was still in the black screen?

After posting this I have received /tells in game of thank yous and other methods they have tried.
I've been told that a VPN helps some users to some success with this issue as well, if all else fails.
Hotspot Shield Free is extremely easy to use, and offers a generous data allowance for short term play on these zones.
