When I talk to the Tenshodo mithra she does not give me any relevant dialogue nor does she take my 1000 gil. The torch does not spawn dark spark, and the box in port jeuno gives me no dialogue. I am not able to get my AF hands, body, or legs on any other jobs at this moment

Yep. Talked to Guslam and Deadly Minnow. A "fix" I read that someone did to fix this a couple years ago was to talk to Deadly Minnow only once so the buy/sell menu wouldn't pop up, and that fixed it for him, but sadly didn't work for me.

you got a previous hands af quest active?

Retrace your steps and make sure you hit them all.
If all else fails, go through all the steps again as if you just flagged the quest (Talk to all NPCs again, Make sure you have Old Gauntlets KI, etc)

1 - Flagged Quest from Galka?
2 - Obtained Key Item from Coffer?
3 - Returned back to Galka (He will say he cant fix them)?
4 - Drop Key Item into the Box in Port Jeuno and sign Commission?
5 - Spawn/Kill Dark Spark?
6 - Return to Box in Port Jeuno?
7 - Reward.

EDIT -- By 'Galka' I mean Guslam (Behind the door in the shop; not the Shop-Keeper -- You might need to speak with the Shop-Keeper if its your first time completing any AF on this character after step 1 and 3, but should never have to speak to the actual shop-keep behind the counter after that).

Did you do your AF prereqs? Were you on SAM when speaking to the NPCs?

9/10 times this is the issue.. I've done it to myself at least a half-dozen times lol

Wow, I omitted a lot of important info, sorry about that.

I have the quest flagged AND I have the Key Item in my temporary key items tab. SAM is my only job above 40, so I don't have any other AF hands quests active. When I talk to Guslam and Deadly minnow, they both give me quest relevant dialogue. Yin Pocanakhu does NOT give me quest relevant dialogue, and the small box on top of the crates in Port Jeuno does nothing for me when I click on it. I have my AF legs.

I saw someone on the forums fixed it by doing a quest where Aldo was a relevant NPC... anyone have a list of quests where he is?

I don't know how much this will help you, coming in so late almost a week later.

I had a similar issue on AF hands, and desperately tried the forums and attempts to contact thru Naschat. Basically got no assistance. I had a feeling that something was preventing the process, because I clearly remember the quest from Retail, and knew I was reading the quest instructions properly and following all the steps.

Completely at a loss, I started wondering if something somehow related to the place or NPCs in the quest was blocking, and since this was all taking place in Jueno I started going thru all of my quests and missions looking for something related to either Jueno or Yin. Long story not so short: I ended up completing CoP mission 1-1, since I had at some point triggered the cutscene in Delkfutt's Tower, but had not finished things up by speaking to the NPC in Jueno.

Don't ask me why this would block the AF quest, I have absolutely no clue. But after finishing PM 1-1 and making sure I wasn't in the middle of any more related quests or missions, I went back and was able to get the proper reply from Yin and finish my AF hands. I really really hope this info can help you, I know how agonizing it is to be forever stuck with no help on something like this.

Hey! You're the person I was referring to who solved it by doing a quest, haha.
Sadly, at the moment, I'm on CoP 2-5, and don't see any quests or missions relating to Yin or Aldo. I tried doing a small Sandoria quest with Yin being an NPC I had to talk to, but that quest was bugged too...
The plan I'm going to go with right now is to continue doing CoP and ZM while intermittently checking if she says anything new. Thanks for replying though, reassures me that its not just me missing something.
