Is there a way to see if my character still exists?
Been so long, is my character linked to my email account?

I would love to check before installing if at all possible.

This link is to login on the wesbsite to view your characters but you must know your username and password for the forum to be able to view your characters. Since you posted here in the forum, then this should not be a problem. Enter your info in the link below and you should see your characters.

If you would like access to your old characters. It would only accept your old forum account and password to login. The only other way is if Nasomi manually change these logins for you. This will be a long time for this to occur since he's the only one working behind the scenes to make the game a pleasant one for all. It could take a few days or weeks before he can make any adjustments for you. So hopefully you can remember your old username and password for the forum account. The forgot password feature for this forum works, because I used it recently. So you would need to remember your username for the forum and access to the email account you associated with the username in the past. Hopefully, you still have access. A verification email will be sent to your old email account when you use the forgot password feature. Verify the email and you will be on your way to access your old characters.

Understood, I usually keep all my emails in folders but looks like this legacy Welcome to "Nasomi Community FFXI Server" email has been deleted
