I can't seem to get this to run on my laptop. It's brand new to me, but its an older laptop that's never been used. It runs windows 7. I seemed to have trouble installing the Visual C++ runtimes on it. 3 were included with the main FFXI torrent download. Those might not of installed correctly, I'm not sure. but I definitely couldn't install the 4th one that I had to download separately. I got an error when trying to launch Ashita saying I needed .net 4.0.30319 to run this program. I'm doing all the available updates for my old windows 7 laptop right now. All 141 of them, then i'll try again.

i only needed 1 to install the game recently on 2 diffrent pcs,, i think this one https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/downloa ... x?id=48145 the 32 bit (x86) download even if you have 64 bit os, i only needed one download.
