 Post subject: Can't Equip Ash Staff

So, I just bought an Ash staff since I needed some sort of an upgrade from the starter "Onion Staff". I meet the requirements but when I click on it...absolutely nothing gets equipped. It acts like it's swapping out the item, but it doesn't ever equip into the slot.
