I downloaded and installed the game, and have only made it to the character creation screen. At the end after picking your server it asks for the "Gold world pass" code. I've tried hitting esc, or enter to continue and ignore it but it just checks the code and eventually just says there has been an error and takes me back to the character creation.

EDIT: Found the search function on the forums and found that the solution is that the character name I'm trying to use is already taken. I'll try that Will update if that works.
