Like the title says im getting frame chop every 5 seconds or so. New install, just made a char. I tried changing the resolution to downscale to 1080p and unlock the fps cap but it still happens. Any suggestions are welcome as the game is unplayable like this

Go to ffxi config on your desktop, click gamepad settings, and disable controller. It's looking for a controller you don't have or haven't configured.
