Hello, I can get the game up and running but when I open it up I get an error message.

I also try to set up my resolution but its really off in game, I'm not sure why.

Ashita is in a write protected folder, move hte ashita folder to your desktop and try again.

While Nasomi's suggestion didnt work for me (I had this exact error), it led me in the right direction.

The Ashita folder is set as Read-only by default. Right click the Ashita folder and click Properties. Uncheck the "Read-only" box at the bottom. Click apply then click OK when it says 'Apply changes to this folder, subfolder and files'. Then click OK once more.

Then run the Ashita.exe and it should update and download a few files then run normally.

Would just like to say, the fix above helped me. I was getting the OP's error and changing the file from read only to not, allowed me to update/play. Thank you!
