So, I am following along the instructions to get this all installed and ready to go, and I get to the step involving the PlayOnline Viewer. It tells me to do have it do a file check and then repair the files. However, after the PlayOnline Viewer does the file check, it says there are no errors and it does not give me the option to repair. Did I mess up somewhere, or can I safely skip this step?

Hi doesn't sound like you did anything wrong :) you need to go in to the ffxi folder to the rom folder and delete the rom 0.dat file then do a file check for Final Fantasy XI and it will find a error then you can repair should update then :) hope this helps

Did you change the dropdown from pol to ffxi?
