Basically what the title says - the Always On sound option is, well, always on. Turning it off and on in the settings does nothing, and it seems the config file is setting the registry values correctly. The Enable Sound option works as intended (it disables all sound), it's just that the Always On option isn't.

I'm running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, if that makes any difference.

Are you running the config as admin?

I am. Is there anything in Ashita that might change it? (As I'm running Nasomi through the launcher the latest installer came with).

Using the option in the config seems to be toggling the correct entry in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\PlayNasomiUS\SquareEnix\FinalFantasyXI entry name 0035 (1 is sound always on, 0 is sound not always on).

But you're right, the setting doesn't seem to function anymore.

Something may have happened when the client changed to a new registry area (to avoid stepping on Retail's). But, even placing the setting into retail's registry location doesn't fix it.

I'll look more into how to get this to work later.
