Just handed in 30 Cornette's in Windurst and went from fame 1 to 2.
Also, handed in 60 Yagudo Necklaces and Norg fame is still 1.

Seems to be different requirements from yesterday, where I handed in 25 stacks of Millioncorn and got 9/9 Bastok/Sandoria, which is aligned to the updated reputation adjustments.

Anyone else notice this?

Yeah, it can be seen from that page that the fame requirements were updated to be much less at some point.
For example: "With 43 Cornettes, I went from Rank 2 to Rank 8 fame. -Hitome@Bismarck/Aedelin@Asura on 8/2/15."

I am noticing that this reduction in requirement was changed today as yesterday I did "Only the Best"

And it only took me 25 stacks to get Rank 9 fame, which is aligned to the post reduction changes. If it was the original requirements, it would have taken 105 stacks.

I also want to point out that the Wiki page for the Necklace quest is also aligned with the reduced fame requirements:

It states that around 10 stacks is required, so something has changed as of the patch.

Fame requirements have always been 05 06 era. I did mandragora mad weeks ago and it took the 240

when I did it on my first character, it required the original amount of trades. This was about a year and a half ago. When I did it on my second character it seems to go extremely quickly. I checked on it partway through and I was already Fame 9 far before I expected to be. This is probably six months ago.
