Ok Ive tried everything on the forums to no avail, I have reinstalled everything 3 times. Nothing works! When I zone through certain zones I just get stuck downloading data and have to force DC and waiting for like 5 mins to get back on.. This is really annoying if im trying to get somewhere quickly or im running with people who need to rely on me not to DC. If there is any information I can give to help fix this problem Ill be happy to! Please help me fix this Specific zones are North Gusta to Konchat and vice versa, and lower jeuno to upper jeuno. Most players are no longer having it happen. Are you dualboxing, or is someone else playing on the same IP? This happens much more often if so

Right now my character is stuck at downloading data going into port bastok from mog house and I cant "unstuck" myself using the website, but it says im still "logged in" but of cause I am because im stuck downloading data...

Clear session tool, as described in that link. You aren't stuck, you're stuck online.

No one else using my IP, but I am playing from Japan if they would change anything? It alteast makes me different from 99% of other player.

I know several players in Japan without this issue, so I don't think it's related to distance to the server

Also one one my characters seems to have this problem way worse than the other. In that I cant get back online quickly with one, but my other character in the same zone still has problems but doesn't get stuck so long downloading DATA..

I wonder if it could be to do with my router. After scouring the Internet some people have mentions ports being closed etc. Will experiment and try later. Will post here if itfixes the issue.

Shouldn't be related to ports but if you can solve the issue you can help many people who experience it too.

So I installed on my laptop and I don't have this problem at all! However I really want to run the game on my desktop.. I wonder it could be the graphics card or the version of windows? Desktop is where im having the problems on windows 10 with NVIDIA GEFORCE 1070, however my old laptop is running windows 8 still and has an AMD HD 8670m.
