Hi so I just updated my computer and now everything reset.


I'm having problems with:
1) the double letter thing even though I did the --user -- pass thing
2) is the file supposed to be .\\ffxi-bootmod\\boot.exe or pol.exe?
3) I reset my password and when i try to log in I still get invalid name/ pass

1. The double letter thing won't happen because it won't even ask you for user/pass if you entered the user and pass correctly in --user asdasd --pass asdasd.
2. boot.exe. Don't mess with this at all.
3. username is case sensitive. If it's asking you for them, again, see #1.

i'm typing in what I put in the --user --pass

--server nasomi.com --hairpin --user Ceaira --pass *******

this is what i'm supposed to have right?

and I've always had to enter my name and pass since i started on Friday >.<

You don't need --server and --hairpin sections if you used the nasomi installer recently.

What do you mean by 'everything reset'.

By that I mean whatever I had in the command box is now gone


I reinstalled and still get double letters with the -- pass -- user

Yeah but... if the info in --user and --pass is correct... then it shouldn't even be asking you.

DO NOT ADD --server and --hairpin to the command box!!!!!!!!! This is NOT REQUIRED and will CAUSE PROBLEMS, maybe like yours, if you add them. Those were only required with old installs.

I already took out the hairpin part. when it boots up, i press 1 to log in then I get prompts for my login info. I don't know what I'm doing wrong since that is how I have logged in the past few days.
