I am trying to do "Bait and Switch" Start NPC Salim - Metalworks (G-7)

- I have level 9 fame *Verified by Flaco Port Bastok @ E6
- I have zoned and tried talking to Salim again
- I have logged out and back in then talked to Salim again

The next conquest update has not passed since I got level 9 fame.
I am from Windurst but the only requirement is Fame 3

I do not get a cut scene and Salim only says:
I must raise the Metalworks output before my term here ends.
I should start by raising everyone's daily quota...

This wont be very helpful but I read somewhere that on Nasomi the Fame NPCs do not give accurate fame feed back and the best you can do is base it prices.

That is a true statement.

You can trial and error figure out your fame by looking up quests attained/completed, check the fame needed to acquire and guess where you are. Sounds like you don't actually have the fame yet.

Unfortunately the quest is not currently in place, and it will not be able to be added until i can capture the packets from retail and implement it.

I have my fame at 9 in Bastok and he offers no quest.

I know this is 2 yr old thread. But the quest isn't working for me. Just seeing if its been fixed yet. Thank you.
