I see that expwatch is not an accepted addon is there a reason why?

Also is FFXI XI View okay to have? It is just a .dat replacement for the menu and UI making it cleaner and changing some icons to be easier to understand

There are reasons why, yes. The simplest is that they aren't in era.

As for dat replacements, generally they are tolerated as long as they are only cosmetic changes (eg. XIView). Anything that gives you a gameplay advantage though is not allowed.

Understood about the plugins however since clock doesn't affect gameplay is it okay to use? Also, has anyone tried the fishingfix plugin to see if it fixes the issue where if you cancel a catch your character freezes totally unable to do anything?

Lastly, Ashitacast since all it does is change equipped gear would it also be okay to use or no?

Ashitacast is VERY NOT OK.

xiview is ok.

fishingfix is NOT OK
