I'm trying to install Nasomi FFXI on a laptop with Windows 7 Enterprise. I ran everything as administrator, but I get the error "failed to initialize polcore" after I enter my username and password. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, with a reboot in between, but I still get the same error. As a precaution, after the uninstall I ran CCleaner, which should have removed any unnecessary registry keys. I have also tried both the torrent and the direct download. I have never installed the retail version of FFXI, but I have had FF7, FF9, and Dragon Quest XI all installed at one time or another (Steam). I did a search for polcore and one of the posts mentions deleting some registry keys, but the post seem to be for a language issue? If someone could help me out, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Thank you, I read that in one of your other posts, but I have never installed the retail version of FFXI. Running CCleaner and reinstalling should have fixed it, but it did not.

"Failed to initialize instance of polcore or ffxi
Cause: DLL registration failed.
Fix: This can happen if you're trying to run both Nasomi and Retail at the same time, but then uninstall Retail. Run the Nasomi installer again to re-register the DLLs."
