The new launcher has been nothing but problems to the point of spontaniously breaking completely as three people help me with LB2.

I need the install and direct download is not available. Supposedly neither is the torrent, can't tell the client you recommend freezes.
Is there a mirror I can use for the v20 installer?

The torrent works perfectly fine for downloading the v20 installer. What was wrong with the new launcher for you?

It does seem to be an issue with being able to extract Ashita/ffxi-bootmod/boot.exe, would it be possible to get a checksum on the new launcher and the torrent version being linked by chance?

I'm reviewing course of action #6 but I do not have anti-virus so the culprit is still unknown, win 7. If you read it there is no helpful information as to why this doesn't work on a barebones vm anymore. No win defender, no anti-virus.

Besides that I has having an issue of increadably slow execution, typical overlay issues about everything listed in the post made on the new launcher issues.

OMG I have resolved this, using 7zip is able to bypass whatever unknown factor is making it impossible to extract with windows built in extraction functions. But, it still doesn't work.

```
System.Exception: Failed to launch boot file.
File Path: .\\ffxi-bootmod\\boot.exe
Error: 2
at Ashita.Classes.AshitaInjector.<>c__DisplayClass0_0.<LaunchConfiguration>b__0()
```

And boot is gone again -_-

Your antivirus is deleting boot.exe. See #6: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=7977

Been a few years for me but im trying to return and having simillar problems. For me however the links in the downloads section just dont do anything. The torrent does absolutley nothing when I click it and the direct download tries to send me somewhere but it just times out.

Try copying the torrent download link into your torrent program as a URL.

I don't have anti virus. Whatever is disallowing it isn't a program but likely a component of microsoft windows 7, windows 10 wont run it outright, and I havn't got wine to work. If I have no anti-virus per se what would be the aspect of the operating system to disallow the file on extraction?
