I've tried to install the launcher to zero effect. I've made it as far as login and get a error code of 3101. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the download and launcher about 20 times with different issues every time. Is there anyway I could get someone in a chat or PS4 chat or even phone that might be able or willing to help me get into the game. Not really to tech savvy so I could be doing something wrong and just not know. Help please..

What kind of ISP do you have?

It sounds like your install is fine, but like some ports may be blocked that are required to play.

comcast/xfinity

Sounds like a normal ISP, not mobile. Can you try restarting your network adapter/router?

I just did that about 30min ago, and no different. As of right now when i launch i get the issue of it closing w/o being able to do anything but one of the launchers will allow me to get to the character screen but wont install and run it just goes back to the no options. im so confused lol

Sorry, can you repeat that? What do you mean when you say you can get to the "character screen" but can't "install and run"? If you're at the character select ingame, you've already installed and run the game.

Ok after installing the new launcher all i get it the push 2 but it does nothing and the launcher closes. But if i do the #7 FFXI-4001 loader it will allow me to get to the character select and make the character but gives me the 3101 error and closes. Thats the only way ive even got to a screen i can put ID and password into to try and log. Im sure im doing something wrong ive been awake for 23 hours trying over and over to get this to work and dont want to give up yet

Nabutso thank you for trying to help me get this sorted, unfortunately ive still had no luck. Ive waited 10 years to play FFXI the classic way again, waiting and trying again some other day in a non frustrated mind set is likely the best idea for me. Thank You again for trying.

I myself use the same isp and so does my brother at a serperate house and we have 0 issues with it

Did you link the charcter slot to the fourms account and activate it thru here if you wait to long to make the character or if your name you choose is taken ingame that will happen
