I took about a 5 month break from game and came back to a whole new version and launcher. I have updated it all and can access the game. The problem is I can not get the controller to work now. Where is the config setup? I can no longer find it. Now it runs though Kodi and not something I am used to.

Kodi? The controller setup is in the same place as always, the FFXI config.

Yeah, I had to reinstall FFXI because of the update. It now has a folder for the install with kodi in it. No clue why. I couldnt for the life of me find the folder with the game though. Just the install folder. Finally was able to find it hidden some weird place on the laptop. No clue how it got there but I found it and it's all good in the hood now.

I've never had luck with third-party controller apps.

I use a $2 usb adapter on eBay and plug my PS2 controller in, Windows 7/10 has no issues with this. PS3/4 controllers are too finicky from my personal experience.

Welcome back Cherri! Did you download Kodi recently and accidentally drag it into the install folder? Lol
