In the past and more recently there have been thread from people that have logged into the game and found that they were in the Mordion Gaol zone. Basically every time one of these posts happens the threads start off with one of a few responses.
1. Suggestion to contact Nasomi via NasChat for details.
2. A comment that shames/defames the poster or their linkshell.
3. Someone else responds that this has happened to them also.
4. A meme is posted as a response.
Let's be clear here, if you find yourself in Mordion Gaol for any reason, a rule violation has been found/detected. The behavior, language or character activity that was found has been judged and your sentence has been executed.
The only person that you can appeal to is Nasomi himself. No one on the forums can or will be able to tell you any details. To begin your appeal, please contact Nasomi on IRC to ask for information or appeal the jail sentence.
Furthermore if your friend or linkshell mate is the one that is in jail.
They would need to talk to Nasomi about their account and the behavior. It's doubtful that you will hear any details as it's not your account.
TL;DR
The forums are NOT the place to find out any information about the cause of your (or your friends) character's jail sentence. You need to talk with Nas via IRC.
