So I was instructed that I needed to bind my legacy account to a Nasomi forum account, so I did that. I downloaded the new NasomiXI client which is way easier than going through a fresh install of retail in the old way, but then I encountered an issue.

When I try to log in, I get a black box with text that says:

Welcome to Nasomi

Website: https://na.nasomi.com
Live Chat: http://nasomi.net

Cheating/botting is strictly prohibited!

It then waits a time, and finally gives me a red message that says:

Failed to connect to server.
Closing...

And then closes Ashita.

I have it set with the boot commands --user and --pass so that it logs me in automatically, but that didn't seem to help. Did I miss something with this new client?

You need the new launcher.

Okay, did all that, got into the server, and much to my dismay, apparently, the account Calloway (my account!) has no characters associated with it.

This is an issue. I don't remember NOT having a character, and of course, if I go to try and create a new Calloway, the name is taken so it doesn't allow it.

This is like pulling teeth!

I'm assuming I bound the wrong account. I contacted Nas about it so hopefully he can get me my old username (cuz apparently the login name wasn't Calloway) seeing as I can't create a new Calloway character (meaning the old name is still taken and my character is still out there somewhere)
