I am new to this server and FF11 in general, but regardless of what settings I put into place before I launch, the game is unplayable.

the original launcher doesn't seem to launch the game at all just gives the option to create an account. i downloaded the Ashita launcher off the main page and it launches the game fine. but the only launch preset that i am able to actually see the whole HUD is default, but the resolution is so out of focus i cant read any text on screen. if i try to raise the resolution at all in full screen mode it makes everything so large you cant see but a small 20% window of the game.

if i go into windowed mode its the same story only i can make the window even smaller. i have tried changing graphical settings in the NasomiXi Config tool, but those settings are overrun immediately by the launcher defaults.

I have tried to make my own launcher settings but haven't really gotten anywhere with it.

I have wanted to play FF11 for a long time, i tried getting the real game off steam but after 7 or 8 attempts the download always fails and it takes like 8 hours with 500MBPS download speed it makes no sense. The Squeenix gods don't want me to play this.

any help with these problems would be appreciated.

Scaling issues are discussed and fixed on the wiki's troubleshooting page:
https://nasomi.com/wiki/index.php?title ... leshooting

Basically, disable scaling in Windows for the program, then set up the resolutions to what you want, and don't enable "Show Border".
