I have tried all the installation options available on the website. (Torrent, Direct and the Ashita Update_ Download it here: https://na.nasomi.com/software/Ashita.zip)

When I run Ashita (both reg and as administrator) I select the profile and click the arrow button

Eventually this window times out and says Unable to connect to server.

I have rebooted my PC (Win10 x64), Router (Netgear - Nighthawk) and even added exceptions in Windows Firewall for everything that seems plausible for the application.
I do have LIVE installed on this drive too and attempted the .bat that prioritizes Nasomi.. no luck there either. I did a full clean install again this morning and still no luck! Any help here is GREATLY appreciated!

You aren't actually using the boot.exe in the ashita you downloaded if you're having this issue.

I extracted the Ashita 2.0 to the Ashita folder E:\NasomiXI\SquareEnix\Ashita\ffxi-bootmod (This folder holds both boot.exe and pol.exe)

Did I miss a replacement file perhaps?

Ohh I see now that Ashita.exe is actually in the root folder as well as the Ashita Folder.

I ran the File from the Ashita folder directly and this allowed me to login correctly.

Do I replace the Ashita.exe in Root with the file in the Ashita folder or leave it in its place?

Overwriting the ashita folder doesn't work. Windows ignores some files, leaving files that don't let you connect. You must fully delete the old ashita and replace it with the new one.

Got it!

Okay hopefully this is my last issue.. I got to character creation and all the way to the point of selecting the world.
I choose Nasomi and then it requests a Gold Pass.. I left it "not specified"

Its not halted at Checking Name and Gold World pass... times out.

Error: FFXI-3113
Protocol Timeout Error

Name is taken.

Fix: Close game. Launch again. Use new character name.
