Hello,

I've done every stage of the quest up to trading Zaldon the item dropped from the Pugil NM. I've talked to the kid and his dad, I've traded the shell bug to him, I've gone to Castle O, fished up the NM, traded the NM Item to the kid and then tried trading it to Zaldon multiple times after going back to the kid and father multiple times.

Zaldon give me the Knights Boot. I don't have "Under the Sea" active and I did everything on my PLD other than kill the NM in Castle O.


Has anyone had problems with this before? Not sure what to do...

Were you as PLD job went to Chateau, Prince Trion's room with the Knight's Boots? I recently did this quest and had no problems. Maybe if you could write out exactly what you did step by step we could see if you missed one. I followed the guide on FFXIclopedia.
