Any idea what the deal is with this guy? Multiple times it spawns next to me but it's invisible. Then others come along and claim it

Major issue for me as well. Lost claim multiple times since I'm unable to see or target even though others can.

It's part of his auto claim system. A lot of nms are popping completely invisible for a short amount of time and some are doing it for upwards of 30 seconds. I assume the reason you know its up is widescan? I recommend making a claim macro to cast on <scan> instead of <t> and then making sure to track it before leaving the menu. That is likely what people are doing if they are claiming before you can even see it. This is a really bad side effect to his claim system and really should not function this way especially on something as entry level as Leaping Lizzy, an nm that is pretty much always camped with widescan.
