Last time I hosted an online session, a couple of random people showed up even though I only shared the link with registered attendees. It threw me off and honestly felt a bit awkward, because I wanted it to be a closed group. I’m now wondering if there’s a way to make access more secure, so that only the people I invite can actually get in. Has anyone managed to set that up without too much hassle?

I had a similar situation when running training events, and what really helped was using a system with password protection and unique links for each participant. That way nobody else could sneak in unless they had the right details. I found a webinar platform quite useful, because it let me set restrictions, manage who entered, and keep track of attendees. It made me feel more confident that the session was private and focused only on the right group.

In many cases, a little extra control can change the whole atmosphere of an event. When participants know it’s a limited space, they tend to be more open and engaged. Plus, as a host, you don’t have to worry about distractions or interruptions from people who aren’t supposed to be there. It keeps things organized and allows everyone to focus on the actual content rather than unexpected issues during the session.
