That suggests to me that it's a plugin problem, or a simple incompatible setting in your existing ashita profile(s).

Plugins can be disabled/enabled within \ashita\Scripts\Default.txt

You can make a new default settings profile in ashita by hitting the "+" icon, and setting pol.exe (the one in the ffxi-bootmod\pol\ directory) as the "file" and in the "command" field you would put "--server nasomi.com --hairpin" without quotes.

Or you can just continue to manually run ffxi-bootmod\pol\pol.exe but you will then be reliant upon the config utility from SE if you want to tweak resolution settings and so on.

Set resolution to 2560 x 1400

problem solved.
