I'm posting this because I'm honestly at my wit's end. For the past few weeks I've been getting repeated calls from United TranzActions about a returned check. The thing is, when I ask them basic questions like which merchant this is even about or what the original amount was, I get vague answers or I'm told to just pay. I sent a written request asking them to stop calling and to send me proof of what I supposedly owe, and the calls kept coming anyway.

I finally sat down and pulled my bank records and compared them to what they were claiming. The numbers did not line up, and there were fees added on that nobody ever explained to me. So now I'm saving every voicemail, every call log, and every letter and trying to figure out my next step.
