Well if your Sandoria this week don't even bother logging in since Bastok is going to have everything.

I made a Youtube video that explains OP warp a bit for new players:

This post didn't age well.

Which I find fairly confusing, because in retail it was the opposite. We all set HP in Jeuno around lv 20, and rarely go back to the starting towns there after.

I kinda like seeing the starting cities populated. If Nas does drop an OP NPC there, I kinda hope a few folks still hang around their home nations.

Around the time I quit retail, I noticed more and more people setting their HPs in their home nations as they unlocked all the OP warps. it took time for those warps to become common knowledge amongst your average player.

Could be. I'm ashamed to admit that even though I did a few OP/supplies deliveries early on in Rise of Zilart, it didn't really sink in just how useful they were until sometime during Treasures of Aht Urghan. I literally spent 4 years relying on teletaxis, chocobos, and ferries for all my travel needs.

Edit: In retrospect, I think I was under the false impression that in order to teleport TO a place, my nation would need to control it. Since that would be at best 1/3 of the time, I had written them off. I didn't realize that being in control of a territory just made it cheaper to port there, and you could simply pay more to teleport when another nation (or beastmen) controlled the area.

It's like they don't know how Conquest works.

The most important thing to remember when using Outpost Warping is that you can pay using Gil! you aren't restricted to only spending your Conquest Points!

Oh, I didn't know about that sort of warping, thanks for making this thread!

Jeuno remains having no access. I visit my mule pretty much daily in jeuno now that we've been explicitly limited to one. I would love to have some access to the world from Jeuno so I can just hp there and have my mule as I need. Thankful for the talisman's at least so I can try and do all my muling in one trip for the day but when you are a crafter with 6 fully geared 75 jobs that you actually use regularly, it becomes tough. I know that he at least tested the idea of a universal outpost warp npc in jeuno and I guess it didn't work. It very well could cause more city lag issues for the whole server to be afking in jeuno anyway but I still hold a candle for that idea. Jeuno would be a great hub. But currently, it just isn't.

An NPC that warps you back and forth from your home city <> Jeuno would do it for me.

Nas has veto'd this option.

However, he's totally open to a Jeuno OP warper. One that works the same way your nation OP guy does. He tried to implement one recently (poorly) but, I think there's a working solution in the works...

That's really exciting to hear. I just took my first steps into Jeuno (on Nasomi at least) recently and was quite sad to see that it's basically just bazaars. An OP warp NPC in Jeuno would be great, hope Nasomi manages to do it. Even if it's separate ones for each Nation placed in each consulate, if that's easier to code?
