We are using the word resisted differently. When I say it, I mean the 400's damage, while I suspect you mean like 50 damage. It consistently does 400-600 here depending on SMN level and the mob, with the 400's being the "resists". I remember Carby party used to be fun times in Onzozo back in the day ~ 5 smn and a brd or cor and you were pretty much almost oneshotting a Torama every minute. That was my experience with it and I quit retail for good in early 2007. I seem to remember that Meteorite ignored MDT-%, though not MDB.

Resists have various levels. Full resist being ~1/8 damage, yes. Resists don't give ~75% damage. It's 1/2, 1/4, and 1/8 (possibly lower?).

400 isn't a resist, that'd just be the damage on a higher level/INT mob (given that full damage is "600").

I'm not saying it can't be 'relatively' accurate (causing it to be more consistent). But Wolf said he didn't resist a single time for many hours. And you yourself said that it has never resisted.

I have never seen it do less than 400, yes. I am not at all a stats and formulas type of player so use that as you will; it has always hit everything I've ever used it on here, whether lvl 1 or lvl 99, for 400-600 damage.

Right, that's a problem. Sorry, but it turns out that SMN is gonna end up getting a well-earned nerf at some point which fixes that.

I'm still surprised it took so long for this to become public, though.

Fixing a clearly defined and crazy powerful bug isn't the same as looking at every aspect of a job, unfortunately. What other issues does SMN have, though?

I honestly didn't realize it wasn't widely known that Carby consistently nukes for a set amount, basically, with no mind paid to anything else. It's been that way for a long time, and is pretty widely utilized.

Edit: I also assumed that the way the SMN parties would be nerfed would be raising the HP of the bat pets, not lowering Carby's effectiveness.
