the elevator in bastok metalworks is malfunctioning, sometimes you can't get on at the bottom, then it will cycle a couple time and you can, then it will start up and stop and reverse to the bottom after a few feet, it will do this a few times then go to the top, at the top you might be able to get off or you may have to wait for a few cycles to get off, then it all starts over when you try to go down

Yup been doing this ever since I've been on the server, just always carry a warp scroll, sometimes it's just better to come back another day for the mission stuff upstairs.

Auto run into it, it typically lets you on/off in a couple minutes.
