Things I can confirm works:

Monk: Invigorate works and provides extended duration with additional points

Dragoon: Angon works, seems to also gain increased duration with extra merits, correctly consumes Angons.

Blue Mage: Diffusion works and provides extended duration as per description.
Assimilation does NOT work.

BLM:
- Group 1: Elemental Seal Recast - does lower recast timer; no extensive testing on this though.
- Group 2: Ancient Magic 2 - You can use 3 merits per spell to learn it, but I can't confirm if dumping any further merits into any spell has the desired effects (magic burst damage +3 / macc +5)
**Edit: don't think potency merits work for BLM after all. ;;**

RNG:
- Group 1: Rapid Shot Rate - works to increase rate by 1% per point, I have 2 points. I barely notice, tbh.
- Group 2: See what Exelyon said.

DRG:
- Group 1: JA Recast timers: Seem to work, but no extensive testing.
- Group 2: See what Roxxaramu said

PLD:
- Group 2: Chivalry & Fealty work, but I haven't spent any further merits into them aside from 'buying' them.
-**Note: Don't bother with Cover recast, since Cover doesn't work here.**

THF:
- Group 1: See what Kiritoo said and, I can confirm that Triple Attack Rate *does* work, and works very well. ;)
- Group 2: Assassin's Charge works, Feint does not. Have not tested Aura Steal or Ambush though.


-Extras-

- Max HP/MP: does work.
- Max Merit Points: does not work.
- Attributes: does work.
- Combat Skills: does work, max of 8 per weapon.
- Magic skill: does work
- Enmity Increase: does work, but doesn't really seem to level sync. (I have 4, and the 3 that should have applied didn't do shit for my WAR in a party under level 40 rofl.)
- Critical hit Rate: does work.

I have yet to see a Quadruple Attack take place in Assassin's Charge. I know some merits aren't era specific, but for this one, 1 merit puts you at the minimum recast from the era (as if 5 merits were already dumped into it), but seemingly does not open quadruple attack. I did some basic science on it out of about 50 weapon skills on a bird party and never saw anything more than a triple attack tp return. Anyone else able to confirm that is true?

The WikiNas article says that on Nasomi you must spend any unspent merits past 10 prior to changing to a lower level job, or the extra 1-5 unspent merits are lost. Is that true, or you just CAN'T accumulate above 10 merits even with Max Merit Points? I'll edit the article according to what you answer.

Should really make a new post for this, as some newer people may read this, not notice the majority of the thread is from two years ago, and think that most of the things mentioned are still broken when the majority has since been fixed.
