I'm having a bit of trouble finishing up my SMN job quest. While getting my weather conditions I zoned in a few places on a chocobo and got a black screen which didn't go away so I had to force d/c. I know I got most of them and the ones i'm missing I can't seem to get anymore...I zone in the area and nothing happens. Can't seem to finish the quest now.

Would you mind helping me out with this?

you likely got the ones where the screen blacked out. Did you try moving on to the next step of the quest?

Can't seem to get the final CS, even tried to finish the quest. I'm going to try and go to all the areas again and see if I'm missing a CS"s. I'll report back with my results.

Looks like it worked. i zoned into Quifm and apparently I can't get the lightning weather there...

I'm having the same issue. I'm on the summoner job quest, got the yellow one earlier, and on my way from qufim island/ jeuno to windurst i rode a chocobo. Each time I zoned on the chocobo (twice), the screen just went black, but the ui and chat was still active. I forced dc each time, but I'm wondering if I collected the weather and which ones it was xD

You get the weather when you black screen, this is a known issue with the summoner quest. Just type @release to release from a cs, you don't need to force dc. If you can't finish the quest, then you missed a weather, gotta remember that dungeons don't count for weather.

Thanks. I'll just have to keep track of how many I've received since I don't know the 2 that black screened. 4 more to go.

Yeah, typically it's fire/ice that you miss since you have to actually go out of your way for them.
