Try logging out both completely, restarting your network adapter/router, then logging one in fully, wait a few minutes, then log the next one in fully.

ok I just did this, I log in the 1st char, it does not disconnect right away. But in time it does disconnect. and start getting R0

another note, when I log in the 1st char than the 2nd. the 1st one disconnects faster.
But when I do not log in the 2nd char, it takes a bit longer but ends up disconnecting again.

btw idk if this matters much but the 2nd char always says "failed to bind to listening socket" with red letter when ever I log him in. but it was always like that since I started so I dont think that would be the problem?

Failed to bind to listening socket is not the problem.

If your first character disconnects regardless of your 2nd, it's not a dualbox issue, but perhaps something else. Perhaps something is wrong with your connection.

But I exped fine last night. while the 1st kept disconnecting and relogging in so the 2nd wouldn't disconnect. party lasted 6hours last night. Idk if it is connection cause I did get exp.. guess Ill keep doing this so I can get exp. better than nothing..XD

ah yes 1 more thing, it logged me in 2 times in 2 different accounts that are not mine.. makes me think one day someone will get this and end up stealing all thier gils and goodies..

btw im reinstalling nasomi installer again.. hoping it fixes the problem.. because I know it cant be my connection doing this..

You can't fully log into a character which isn't yours, but sometimes they will show up instead of yours in the login screen, yeah.

yeah I was running V19 since I started in may. worked fine downloading V20 since I heard it fixes bugs?..

downloading on torrent 4hrs down, 60% left to go.. XD

Just got done and entered the game with V20 installer.. and it still disconnects me... 7hrs no ffxi me sad..

I can seem to find this dim setting, I'm on a laptop running Windows 10. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
