No. 1 character in the zone while HELMF is taking place. If 2 are in there while you're HELMF you're liable to get bant. Don't do that.

Park the other character at a convenient zone line and don't risk it, matey.

The rule is intentionally vague because people would rules-lawyer it if it was more concrete. The answer to every "okay but what if I..." question when it comes to HELMF is "no".

Take the rule in the spirit that it's intended: when you as a player are "doing HELMF" -- read: actively gathering, waiting for nodes to respawn, fishing, traveling to the zone, buying more pickaxes, ANYTHING to do with HELMF -- you're limited to only using one character at a time for doing any of that stuff. Doing anything that gives you an advantage over someone who only has a single character puts you at risk of getting B&.

E: There are some explicit exceptions as mentioned in the linked thread though: you can park a second character with your fisher and have them kill any mobs you fish up, for example.

Fishing counts the same as any other HELM activity. If you want you use your alt as a mule, park it outside the zone. When you're ready you trade, cease fishing, run alt in, exchange items, warp it outside of zone, then resume fishing. Or, better still, run your main to the alt.

Basically, don't give Nas a reason to take action. The most lenient thing I've seen him do is drop a character's level back down to 1. Usually he just poofs them away to Mordion Gaol never to better seen again.

I would definitely log out of additional characters in other zones and not use them while I'm HELMF'ing until I'm ready to adventure again.
