Ever since the latest patch (or shortly thereafter), I've been ghosting SIGNIFICANTLY more than I used to, normally right as/before I zone. Whereas the problem used to occur once every week or so, now I seem to experience it probably once every three times I zone, on average. It's gotten to where I'm actually surprised if I don't ghost on one or both characters whenever I'm headed anywhere that involves zoning. Has anyone else experienced similar (or does anyone have any suggestions)?

Do you mean when you don't show up in /sea anymore but are still online?

Swap your net from wired to wireless or vice versa. Seems to help a lot of people.

Yeah. You also drop from the party list and black screen when you zone.

My current configuration doesn't allow that, but I'll look into it. Thanks. Any idea why it would have suddenly started happening? Or why it only happens when zoning?

We're still not sure exactly what the cause is, but for some reason, specifically changing from wired to wireless has fixed it for a lot of people.

Changing from wired to wireless often changes your internal IP address and is likely to cause your connection to drop completely.

uh... well, obviously I'm not suggesting that they do so with the game running with the expectation that they wouldn't get disconnected.

Of course they would need to re-launch the game after changing their connection.
