This is why you should be skeptical of people bringing in non-nas drama. It's clear from the first image that either there was more to the conversation before or the OP randomly @'d them. Then there's the... "curated" list of screenshots from twitter which obscures how the conversation went unless you want to look up some random people on a site you may or may not use.

I personally don't really care for all this "internet famous" stuff. If you want to play, play. No need to create a spectacle of it. The server is already very congested as it is. Not saying there shouldn't be or can't be a higher population but I'm not so sure the server is ready for 5k+ people especially without a functional ToAU. Just my thoughts and opinions.

This is largely irrelevant. Mr.Happy has pretty much been rejected by the XIV community and wimpered back to XI. It's also a pretty low key, but well documented fact that the guy has a vested interest in the success of XI. Reason being is that he takes monetary kickbacks from mercenary shells he promotes that also sell gil. He's not worth the time of day. He respects the devs way less than most anyone else.

No one even chimed in on my first tanking experience in the PLD thread.

Nope. Everything is there, in order, until I didn't get any more of it. Yes, that was the absolute start of that conversation. The only prior engagement I had with MrHappy before was a month ago linking https://www.change.org/p/official-square-enix-final-fantasy-xi-level-75-era-server. He said he passes and that the current FFXI provides a balance of content for both hardcore and casual, and that he would never want the game to be the way it was back then again. I told him the old and new FFXI were in fact two completely different games, and that server populations for several MMOs with official legacy servers show high population legacy servers. He didn't respond.

Fast forward to now, I linked him this video https://youtu.be/FH8FA6zMA0k. The conversation played out exactly as you see. I didn't get the rest of it before he blocked me, but this is everything I said after what was linked in OP: Twitter won't let me see his messages, but he told me to leave him alone, and said that we're stealing copyrighted property.

If anyone can get better images or images of the rest of the convo, you are more than welcome to. Though you are likely going to have to ask MrHappy himself. Just don't tell him you play on a private server.

Why does anyone care what Mr Happy is saying about Ninja? You do not know the man and it doesn't effect you in any way whatsoever. Besides I also highly doubt Ninja cares about what's being said so you shouldn't either.

I choose to play on Nasomi because it's the mechanic that I enjoy. If SE ever made a legacy server, I'd join that in a heart beat. Heck, I'd pay twice the sub fee of current FFXI to play on an official Legacy server.

As the OP said, I'm not choosing to disrespect SE by playing on Nasomi, but rather choosing not to spend my money on a game that went in a direction I no longer enjoy. I was also a Legacy account holder for FFXIV, I paid a subscription for about a year for 1.0 FFXIV, only to quit shortly after it's 2.0 relaunch because I didn't enjoy the direction the game went.
