As for the person willing to pay you 10M, irrational actors exist in the market all the time. That doesn't actually reflect the value of something except in the short term. There are insane millionaires IRL too.

What I'm saying is you don't seem to grasp the amount of "old money" on this server. What you call "irrational actors" are actually just people willing to spend that much gil because they don't have much else to spend it on. You'll never get Monomi for 500k in the current market so go back to your Silent Oils.

The supply of Monomi scrolls is nonexistent, making the demand for those scrolls high. This is how basic sales works.

The value of something depends on what someone is willing to pay. If I bought Monomi for 10m, it is worth 10m to me. If you pay 500k for it, then to you it is worth 500k. However, you find someone selling Monomi for 500k on Nasomi, please buy me one also so I can turn around and sell it for 10m+
