Why soloing? I typically can only log on for an hour at a time, its just not worth finding a party
Why need a guide? I've tried going to zones that seem the appropriate level and ive had hit or miss luck finding areas with dense enough mobs for a particular level to be useful
If it's relevant i'm 25RDM/THF, I tend to go for DC's and EP's for soloing, but will throw in an EM on occassion

I am currently soloing in the Dunes and hitting 24 soon. I am going to solo EASY/DC until 30 and then switch to BST.
Enjoy the grind and collect items that sell well at the AH (or with NPCs) and get rich at the same time.
Solo'ing to 50+ without SMN or BST will take a long time ^,^/ however I can see that in your current situation that exp is better than no exp!

My Monk is currently soloing faster than all Beastmasters in my area; I am not sure when this will change.
When I'll have high HP, I'll instant warp to mog house and re-warp to exp zone to avoid waiting for healing
I can kill non-stop for 1200+ exp and then I take less than 1 minute to rest up. I Boost + WS every 2nd mob for a super fast kill and eat cheap Meat Jerky.
BST have to use single-handed slower weapons, rest MP and find mobs to charm while I am plowing through mobs like a hot knife through butter with 0 risk and great cash reward. Eventually I'll switch to MONK/THF and farm at the same time. I'll write a guide when I am done and document when it starts to slow down.
So far I gain more EXP than waiting for the party to assemble and run to camp. I can also play for 15 minutes at a time or short 45 minute windows, etc.
