On the bright side, now you can blame this thread for at least some of the party invites you don't get, and not just the fact that you are both rank 2 and a THF.

I'm not going to read 11 pages of this but I wouldn't invite a rank 2 guy past level 30 unless there were no other options. Rank doesn't equate to your skill level but it does show whether or not you're dedicated enough to the game to do things when they become available, so if you haven't done something as basic as rank missions how can I assume you have farmed for Sniper's Rings, a Haub, applicable HQ staves, etc.?

So why did you get to rank 2, why not stay rank 1?

Widen the level sync range so jobs people don't want like THF can take invites for lower-level parties where they still might be somewhat desirable. Would also ease their ability to make their own parties, gives them more players to ask, and a lot of players 60+ probably aren't too inclined to take an invite from a THF because they know right away there will be a THF wasting a slot in the party, but someone in the 40s might go to CN or something.
