The SAM AF head fight for "A Thief in Norg!?" seems much harder than it is supposed to be. IS that intentional on here?

Also after I lost last night my key item of starting the fight seems to have disappeared. Is that supposed to happen?

I doubt it is intentional, but that’s how it is.

There are fights here and there where the enemies are set to a level that is too high.

Yes, you lose the key item because you traded it to the BCNM circle. Just go get another in Norg. It's not that hard, just take a couple people you. Take a bard to permanently Horde Lullaby everything while you kill each demon 1 by 1. Btw don't forget that Job Ability no one ever uses, it's +15% dmg, 15% resistance and Demon Killer trait.

Yes, this and some other bcnm/af/nm's are much more difficult than their retail counterparts. I've asked this question in the last 3 Q&A's and Nas has never answered, just kinda assuming at this point he just doesn't have the knowledge of what they're supposed to be and leaves them because there's lots of 75's willing to help lowbies.

Does sleep work on them? The wiki says they are immune to all forms of sleep/silence?

Took me a full pt of 75s plus myself at 70 to beat it without sleeping them all... on my 4th attempt >_<. that fight is a bitch! Didn't know you could sleep them on nasomi, makes it a lot easier. GL!
