Hey all. Played from 2006-2011. Been playing a little on Gamerzprojectxi but I heard the community here is much larger (and people I used to play with are on this server).

I just have a quick question for those who can answer. I recently resubbed to retail because I just want to finish questlines that I never did, and I want to do the new expansion so I can get some closure from retail finally. My question is if I set up this server, will I still be able to log into retail? Would it give me any issues?

Other than that, I look forward to getting to know some of you and reliving the glory days.

Anyway I figured out that yes I can hop on retail. I was wondering however: I know toau is being worked on. Will WoTG content be added in the future? Or is that not planned?

Currently, Treasures of Aht Urhgan is mostly unplayable, minus new job quests, exploring the region, and some ZNM's. I have no knowledge of any more content other than that being released, but I can speculate.

This server is supposedly based on the CoP era, and it has more than enough bugs and non-functional quests to work on before Nasomi even considers adding any further content. I would consider WotG out of the question. And while -some- aspects of ToAU may be implemented, it may be years from now...

... However, the game in its current state is rewarding to play, the economy is bustling, and the player base is large. It can easily draw your interest for years to come.

Ah okay, thanks a bunch for the response.

Totally fine with me, the reason I was attracted to this server initially is because of the amount of people, and how close it is to what I remember (as well as people I know from retail being on here). If I want to do the content and whatnot I can always hop onto the other server I'm on.

Toau will not be implemented. Be thankful we can even get walahra turbans and al zahbu guild npcs.

WoG will not be implemented. As I understand it, there are two reasons. 1. SE has given Nas the OK to run this server without threat of lawsuit so long as it never implements beyond ToAu. 2. Nas openly hates DNC and considers it the end of the "Golden Age" of the Game. That said, Level sync has been borrowed as a mechanic from WoG, which was really nice of Nas to do considering the population is a bit sparce compared to 2005 retail. That is not a complaint, the pop is pretty good. However, it is not the 600 players online I used to see regularly on Cerberus in 2006.

Ah that makes sense. As much as I loved SCH and DNC, I can live with that. And Duhka, I was on cerby too. Pretty sure I remember you too. (Phyrefly got me here). Are you the same name on this server?

I dont know where you heard that but Im pretty sure the only thing SE would ever contact nas about would be sending a C&D letter lol.

WotG never, Aht Urghan maybe some day after all of the CoP content is 100% finished, ToAU could then start to get worked on, which would be a looooong process.
