Not impossible, but so highly unlikely as to be impossible in practice. The only way to determine the source address is to talk to the VPN service. They are the only ones who know, and it is their job to protect the privacy of their users. Short of a government order, they will not do this. Even they would only be able to provide a source IP (after a fair amount of log searching themselves) and wouldn't be able to determine who is cheating and who isn't if they're not sniffing and logging FFXI traffic, which they are obviously not. MACs do not apply here in any way, they are layer 2. Only the layer 3 IP address applies, and as we've discussed cannot be used to determine who is who without private VPN company and/or government intervention.

Why are you avoiding the scraping data portion of his comment? Like for real. When I was in TS even I thought it was odd as fuck that there was a "Crafting Corner" page that required a separate login to get into aside from logging into the forums itself. Low and behold it did hold all of the scraped information behind it, and had nothing to actually do with crafting. If you don't think your friends in TS were using that, you're out of your mind. Who was it again that set that up, Tiby? I'd have to dig but I'm pretty sure I have those screenshots of him explaining how it was done.

At this point this thread is Unbanned players vs. Banned players. The difference between you and a banned person is that we aren't afraid to list off all the dumb shit Nasomi has done over the years, and continues to do. That is the only reason we are still around, to air his crappy methods and bring awareness to those facts. I've yet to see you disagree with any of his practices in any fashion yet, even Aeroo fessed up to Nasomi doing things poorly in his own roundabout kiss-ass way earlier in this thread. TS members are some of the most rule-abiding gamers I've ever encountered in my life. Hard-earned, fair gameplay, never did a single thing wrong. I mean I personally force spawned KA and then nexus caped to it for my belt.
