Greetings, my fellow FFXI junkies!

My main character is Blanku, dual-box character is Ryamatsu and my wife is Aerolyna.

I started playing FFXI during PC NA launch, way back in 2003, first 75 job was Samurai and dinged it in Bibiki Bay. Like mostly everyone else here, I stopped playing FFXI when Abyssea reshaped the game into something I just don't find very interesting or fun.

I have been playing FFXIV since 2013 and I currently have all jobs and crafts to max level of 60. However, I honestly don't feel like I earned them. Classic FFXI shaped me into someone that wants to work hard for achievements and games like WoW and FFXIV give no sense of gratification outside of instant gratification that doesn't really have much gravity. I decided this weekend to leave FFXIV and try out this server here.

This isn't my first FFXI private server however, as I did play for a while on Supernova, because I saw a post on Reddit one time and it sounded interesting. Unfortunately, Supernova, although good and a decent community, I still didn't feel that feeling I had in classic FFXI because there was still too many post Abyssea changes that I feel ruined the fun for me. This includes, increased running speed, exp bonuses, FoV books, dinging 75 in dunes with a PL level sync party, etc.

Words can't express how happy I am to know this server is so strict about wanting to be as true to classic as possible. Making a new character with my wife has been a positive experience so far and it really does feel like I went into a time machine and I'm playing on a server from 2005.

I'm fairly new to Nasomi (1 month old tomorrow). If you need help, or 1 more for an exp party give me a /tell. In game I'm Stickywicket (BRD/BLM), and Purrfection (RDM/BLM), but I always seem to need to lvl a subjob so I should have something in your level range.
